Learning Success Program

Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4

The Learning Success Program (LSP), which serves roughly 12% of the total student body, positively impacts student learning. Specifically, the LSP supports students with documented learning disabilities (i.e. attention deficit disorders, learning disabilities, some students who are identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other special education needs) so that their learning needs are accommodated.

Supportive Faculty and Staff:

Students who learn differently are supported by the entire Crean Lutheran community. The overarching goal is to assist students to grow closer in their relationship with Jesus Christ, while helping them excel academically.

Crean Lutheran High School offers a comprehensive Learning Success Program led by Director Guy Foresman (M.A.Ed.; M.Div.).  Mr. Foresman was educated at Trinity University in Texas, Claremont Graduate School, and Claremont School of Theology.  He has garnered recognition as a certified instructor in special education and as a learning handicapped resource specialist.  Mr. Foresman has served as a teacher in multiple settings, which include Special Day Class (SDS), Resource Specialist (RSP), Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), and the traditional classroom.
